Departing Australia

Departing Australia

Departed Canberra (CBR) by Greyhound bus after some minor mechanical issues with the airbag height adjustment of the bus - fixed but scraping it along the road until it suddenly inflated .. Rather interesting

Arrived Sydney (SYD), checked in, cleared thought customs / immigration and headed out into the cleared sterile zone of the international airport.
Caught up with a friend from a previous trip, she allowed me to come into the Qantas Club with her while Frankie kept shopping, I must say they did have a nice Penfold's Red out- yummy.

After boarding our code share Air Vanuatu / Qantas flight (operated by Air Vanuatu, 747-800) I realised this is my first non Australian carrier.

Below you can see us being all tired yet happy to be flying.

After arriving at midnight we had a slight hiccup - the hotel didn't have our booking, luckily they had a spare family room until we can sort it out in the morning.

Mystery Bay NSW

Camping on the South Coast NSW

sunny 21 °C

We decided quiet late in the week to go camping again.
Normally we camp in the Mimosa National Park approx 25km north of Tathra NSW, this time we decided to try some where new. Mystery Bay NSW was chosen.

The site was HUGE, lots of site. The layout of sites allow for only a few other campers to see each other with a 360 view, really well laid out.

The provision of amenities was basic, as advertised. Cold water taps, cold water showers and pit toilets scattered throughout the site.
